Large music industry magnates like Sony are using AI for song composing. Some in the music industry are partnering up with AI like Watson to be more creative in the industry.

While this is exciting for those who are into technology and welcome artificial intelligence there are others who believe that this is going to change the way that music is produced and presented. Those that fit in between these two concepts are of the mind that AI can be looked at as just another resource for the music world. There is no doubt that it will bring forth a lot of challenges with just one of these revolving around copyright issues.
